Our Story

I’ve been married to my husband, John, for 41 years, and together we’ve built a life centered on family, resilience, and love. We’re proud parents to 2 children, or son Christopher who is 37 and our daughter Stephanie, who is 34 and on the autism spectrum—an experience that has deeply shaped who I am and how I show up in the world.

My heart for service and community comes from that lived experience. I’m passionate about supporting others, creating connections, and helping build a community where everyone feels seen and valued. I have been in the healthcare field for over 30 years and through my work with organizations like the Elderly Service Providers of Denton County, Dementia Friendly Denton County and The Arc of Denton County, I’ve found purpose in bringing people together to make a difference.
